The new year is bringing in some new health habits for me and I’ve decided to start the day off the right way. I am usually a hot breakfast lover but finding time to prepare a healthy hot breakfast and actually sit down to enjoy it never seems to happen. With two kiddos to rush off to school, emails to answer and all the other things that sit on a mother’s shoulders, I’ve found the answer to a healthy and quick breakfast routine. A breakfast smoothie! I start with coffee as a base and it’s amazing, especially on those days like today where I have a million and one things to take care of before heading out the door.


A BUSY MOM'S BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE
-1 cup of coffee
– 1 cup of Almond Milk
-2 scoops of Collagen Powder
-1 scoop of Chocolate Protein Powder
-1 to 2 scoops of Almond Butter
-1 tablespoon of Chia Seeds
And if I’m feeling like I’m dragging and need a little more substance, I will add a scoop of rolled oats and a little plain greek yogurt!
