I was reading over a few past blog posts and realized it’s been quite some time since we did a recap on life with twins. If I could use one word to describe life with almost three year old twins, it would be BUSY! These two are constantly on the move from sun up to sun down. They’ve even started refusing to nap (on occasion) and while it’s exhausting, seeing their personalities shine through and their independence grow is…
It’s hard to believe the babes are 2! I know it’s so cliche to say but how in the world did that happen? Birthdays around here are and will always be a big deal. It’s a celebration of another year of life and memories made. My mom always did such an amazing job at making me feel special on my birthday and I can’t wait to pass that on as the babes get older. This year I gave my best…
As a twin mom, uncertain if I’m having any more children, I often shed a tear when a milestone comes and goes. This is definitely the case as I bid farewell to tandem baby wearing. I have tandem wore these two little monkeys for nearly two years, on countless grocery trips, several hikes and through airports all over. I will forever cherish feeling both babes next to me while we explored the world and conquered one airline at a…
Ah, I’m so behind with these updates… I just noticed our last monthly update was at 17 months (oops) and so much has changed since then. It’s funny how life can get a hold of you… People are constantly asking me how old the babes are and sometimes I have to sit there and count the months on my fingers before I can answer. So yes, they are 20 months old now. That sounds crazy to say!
Yesterday, the twins…
How are my babies 17 months old already? Life with twins is crazy but time just flies by so quickly that sometimes I feel like I haven’t soaked it up enough. This month the babes seem more and more like toddlers each day. They are growing like weeds, Easton has even surpassed some of his buddies in height and Ev has finally started wearing clothing sizes that are meant for her age (she used to always wear a size…
Mothering 16 month old twins is exhausting. They are constantly moving and into something. It never stops. But there’s an upside to the whole two baby thing… they have realized that each other is a separate thing, they are taking notice of what each other is doing and starting to form that “twin” relationship which absolutely melts my heart… Ev finds everything E does to be the most hilarious thing she’s ever seen and E loves his sister and…
15 Months into this twin mama thing and I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ll never actually know what I’m doing… Everyday is a guessing game and sometimes just when I think I’ve got it down, they throw me for a loop, like our naps… It’s always the naps…
Here’s an update on babies at 15 months and motherhood at 15 months…
