Happy Friday! I’ve missed this space and writing out my feelings, it feels so good to be back! I took 2 weeks off from blogging and it was so unintentional! I spent 5 days with my girlfriends at a photography retreat being inspired by all things Palm Springs has to offer and then came home to real life… sick babes that landed us in the ER for ear infections which was quickly followed by a 24 hour stomach bug that took down our whole family.
I’m so thankful to report that we are all healthy and back to our regularly scheduled programming around here and while my break was unintentional, it was not without waste. Sometimes an unscheduled break is just what the soul needs. I’m feeling inspired and so motivated to pump out some fresh content for y’all and can’t wait to share some exciting collaborations I’m working on in the next few months!
I spent the month of January purging stuff from our home and now I’m slowly upgrading some of our older items in our home and am having so much fun researching and piecing things together. This week’s edit is heavy on the home side and I’m not sorry about it!
THE FRIDAY EDIT
STYLE
I can’t shake the overall trend… I’ve been contemplating a pair for sometime and was too worried they’d be a ‘flash in the pan’ style so I never did buy any… I’m thinking of taking the leap! Where do you stand on the overall trend?
Speaking of trends… mom jeans. I love them, when you find the right pair, you just know. These jeans are amazing.
Linked my favorite pajamas below but in a ‘summer’ version. I have the pants set and they’re so dreamy!
And because it’s still freezing in San Diego, I ordered this sweater in black. I own another color and it’s my favorite!
HOME
I’m obsessed with the ruffle on this adorable linen apron. And such a good price point too!
The new pillows from H&M are perfection.
Now that I’ve finished my decluttering and organizing, I’m on to labeling. These little cards fit perfect over all the bins I bought.
KIDS
Lulu and Georgia just got in some of the cutest kid things! I’m in love with this picnic basket for summer walks to our canyon down the street.
And did y’all know H&M home has kids decor? I’m obsessed with the whole line and it’s so affordable!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! For once, we have zero plans and it feels so freeing… I think I may lounge around the house all weekend! Cheers to that!
