FRIDAY EDIT | V3

Friday Edit | V3 | thoughtsbybrandi.com

This week and last week have been kind of wild. We’ve had a few moments where I’ve been forced to stop and take a good look around me and feel gratitude for the life we’ve built. It’s crazy how sometimes life can give you a little slap in the face to make you realize how good life really is. Just in time for Thanksgiving too!

Last week, we had what we think was an attempted break in and it really made me look around. Not only at our possessions but at this life as a whole and all the amazing-ness that it is. Gratitude isn’t something I express daily but I really want to set an intention to do so.

THE FRIDAY EDIT

While I’m in thanksgiving prep mode, I’m also already plotting my Christmas décor and can’t wait to share a little Holiday project I’m working on with Hope from Olive and Oak Interiors! We start the week after Thanksgiving and I can’t wait! This is an image I sourced from pinterest and is going to be the base of my holiday décor this year… simple yet timeless!

I’ve been on the hunt for a basic black sweater but have been struggling to find one I loved. This one is magic. The ribbing is perfect and the mock neck gives it a little extra pop so it’s not quite so basic. It’s so well priced; I think I may order the white too!

I picked up a vintage Malm Fire Place for our patio to refinish! I’m so inspired by these images and can’t wait to restore her to all her glory! I’m starting the project this weekend and am so giddy! (image via pinterest)

An edited round up of Friday picks from the week

Anthro is having a major sale on pants and denim! I grabbed this pair for winter and am thinking of snagging a few more! Here are my favorite picks from the sale!

Did you guys catch the recap and overshare of our Pismo Beach Trip? I shared these still life images too! I have been pushing myself to get a little more creative with my photography and it was so fun to find things other than people to photograph on this trip!

That’s our week in a nutshell. We’ve got my in laws here this weekend and can’t wait to spend some quality time with them and then head into the holiday week! Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays… not just because the food but because we spend the holiday with a few of our closest friends and it’s always such a great time watching the kids play together and enjoying each others’ company.

Stay tuned next week for an unloading of Holiday gift guides that I’ve been working on!

Happy Friday yall!
