Happy Friday my friends! It’s 2019… how in the heck did that happen! I’m off to a great start this year and really ready to show up more on here and make sure there’s a fresh Friday Edit every week! We’ve had such a busy week already with my first shoot of the year and the babes are off to school again! It feels so nice to have my house back in order and the toys cleaned up… even if only for a short period haha.
I’ve packed up all our Christmas decor and am slowly refreshing the space for the new year… my current struggle is choosing a big tree for our living room!
THE FRIDAY EDIT
-The Great Tree Debate – I’ve decided to invest in a tall tree in the corner of our living room and I’m having the hardest time choosing between an Olive Tree and a Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree and whether to go real or fake! I’ve pinned tons of images and am truly having the hardest time choosing.
-Pillow Update – I updated my couch pillows for Christmas this year and am so in love with them! Here’s a few more I’m really loving!
– Word of The Year – This year I chose CHANGE, read all about my why here. I was so pleasantly surprised when this article landed in my inbox… apparently 2019 is all the buzz for change!
– Lately on Thoughts By Brandi: My favorite breakfast smoothie for the busy mama; Obsessed with this Fireplace that I had the pleasure of photographing; and my staples for fighting off cold symptoms!
I took the past two weeks off of emails and computer screens so it feels great to be back but also like I’m about two weeks behind on all my work. I hope your New Year is off to a great start! Happy First Friday of 2019!
