If you love HGTV as much as I do, then you’ve probably caught an episode of Fixer Upper. It’s one of my favorite shows. We stopped off at The Magnolia Market in Waco on our way to Dallas and it was everything I thought it would be. I was sad I didn’t get to meet Chip and Jo (the stars of the show) but I did some shopping and can’t wait to add the decor to my house.
I’ve rounded up my favorites from the market and some tips for what to do when there…
TIPS FOR VISITING THE SILOS
– Be sure to visit in October through May. Only one portion of the market is air conditioned and there isn’t much shade outside so it can get pretty hot. They’ve done a good job at installing misters and fans though so we managed.
– Take time to explore and sit and stay a while. There are games outside like cornhole, kickball, and football along with swings and comfy bean bags.
– Go hungry. There are a ton of food trucks parked outside. You can get anything from crepes to coffee!
– Go with a camera. There are some great photo opportunities all over the grounds!
