Fitness, post babies, has been tough simply because I can never seem to find the time. Before pregnancy, my go to workout was Bikram Yoga. I was semi-addicted and was able to fit it into my schedule 4-5 times a week. I stopped going once we found out we were expecting twins and was advised by my doctor to find a less intense form of exercise.
A friend and fellow Bikram lover recommended that I try Tracy Anderson’s Pregnancy Project so I ordered it right away. I really enjoyed the workout and how it progressed with my pregnancy. I’m usually not a fan of workout dvd’s but after doing the Pregnancy Project, I thought I’d try some of Tracy Anderson’s other videos, postpartum.
After doing a little research on the different types of workouts she offered, I settled on two, the Method Express and Precision Toning. Both are workouts that can be done in 15 minutes or less. I like to get up in the morning about 30 minutes before the babes and knock it out. It’s a great and refreshing way to start my day!
I’ve finally found a way to incorporate fitness into my schedule and stay consistent with it. Thanks to this routine, I’m only 6 lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight. What are some of the ways you stay fit post baby?
