I debated covering this sale this year for a few reasons but mainly because let’s face it… ordering a ton of new clothes to get all dressed up to go nowhere seems a little crazy right now but… after browsing the sale, I did find a few things I added to my own wishlist so I thought I’d share with you. Now, let’s all cross our fingers that it doesn’t sell out in one minute.

Sweaters are my favorite thing to buy at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. You can get great quality sweaters at a fraction of the cost and these will last you years to come. Here’s a few I have my eye on.

Outerwear is another staple to stock up on. I haven’t bought myself a coat in over 2 years and the last one came from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. We have a few mountain trips planned for this winter and here’s the options I’m considering. The adorable Salmon colored patagonia puffer is already sold out in most sizes but I’m hoping for a restock or a return! I’ve had my eye on the blush leather jacket for a few years and I think I’m ready to finally pull the trigger. I have quite a few dresses that I think this would look perfect over.

Intimates is the other category I love to shop during the Anniversary Sale. One can never have too many pairs of Spanx! I wear the ones linked below almost daily under dresses more so for added coverage (chasing kids and riding bikes) than the slim factor but that is definitely a bonus! This year, I’ve added a few bras to my wish list too because I honestly can’t recall the last time I purchased a bra.

And finally, the random things I’m eyeing. I love jewelry and I’ve been adding to my collection lately. These pieces are so pretty and from a favorite designer. Also, these joggers look perfect for a casual day at home or for the grocery store! And if you don’t already take MoonJuice supplements, this is the perfect set to stock up on! I love the SuperYou supplement.

I really took a minimal approach to the sale this year, similar to how I shopped it this year. I went after things that maybe were still “pricey” but were items I knew I’d get a ton of wear out of. I checked out only the brands that I know I love and then made my wishlist from there. Happy shopping! And remember, just because it’s on sale, doesn’t mean you need it!
