LOVE IS IN THE AIR

I met this sweet, ‘ new to San Diego ’ couple through that silly app we all love to hate and hate to love, yep, Instagram! After chatting for a while, we met up and traded sessions and it was so much fun! I hardly ever get to photograph San Diego couples so I had a blast giving them a few prompts to snuggle up tight! I also took some film scans… can you guess which is digital and which is film?

One of my goals for 2018 is to learn and shoot at least one roll of film per month. There’s something so magical about film, it feels nostalgic and opening each developed roll truly is like Christmas… but also a little unnerving because you don’t know what you’re getting until you open it! Do you remember taking your disposable cameras to the store and getting them developed? Yep, nostalgia haha!
